Suzette, the Singaporean-French designer accessories label, is launching a new capsule collection in collaboration with award-winning designer Fedri for the second time this year.
Fedri has always been fascinated by feathers animals such as roosters, owls & parrots, all of which are available in our beloved city of Singapore. Both this fascination and the upcoming Chinese New Year have led him to choose the rooster as the key symbol for this new capsule collection. Taking on the already famous Suzette python clutch, he added into it animal images through a meticulous 100% handmade work. The result is a collection of ten unique stunning handmade pieces available in a very limited edition. The collection is a true cultural melting pot, associating the Indonesian designer’s craftsmanship and sense of details with Suzette Team’s French luxury taste. Such collaboration brings unique items for people looking to stand out.
“The collection is all about mixing two different identities to form a single new one”
Drawing his inspiration from his Asian roots, Fedri’s work features a mixture of handcraft production methods, blending indigo dye fabric with a series of menswear shirting fabrics, calf leathers and sequins that add a hint of femininity. The 100% python and naturally dyed skins are all imported respecting the Singapore AVA & Cites Regulations.
The collection being 100% handmade, no bags are identical with one another whether in placement or sewing of the images. Also, due to the nature of animal leather, the differences between every bag’s color, texture and placement CANNOT be considered as defects, but rather as a sign of uniqueness of each bag. Please handle the bag with care, do not scratch it with other fabric/surface with bright color as it will cause color transfer. Put it back to the pouch provided when not in use. Prevents from direct sunlight.
